ACS ICPN1 LS – Installation of commercial gas pipe work (limited scope)
CITB certificated
Covering all of the fundamentals of commercial gas supply installation work and leading to the Limited Scope Pipe-work component of the ACS (Accredited Certification Scheme for Individual Gas Fitting Operatives) relative to commercial gas work.
Description
This limited scope assessment is suitable for pipe fitters, etc. who install pipe up to 150mm diameter and do not connect it to a live gas supply. It will enable successful candidates to competently and lawfully install commercial gas pipe-work, but they will not be permitted to make final connections at either end without direct supervision from a fully qualified and registered gas engineer. Candidates are not obliged to take the training component of the course, but we strongly advise it, to help pass the associated assessments.
Who it’s for
Ideally suited to operatives and companies employing individuals who work on the installation of large commercial gas pipe-work runs, but who do not connect it to a live gas supply.
