Air Source Heat Pumps

A short, but comprehensive course designed to provide experienced heating, plumbing, electrical and HVAC installers with the knowledge and skills needed to design and install air source heat pump systems

Description

Demand for renewable heating technologies is escalating due to changing legislation, soaring fuel prices plus environmental awareness among the general public – bringing with it profitable opportunities for professional installers working in the building services sector.

Air source heat pumps extract thermal energy from the outside air and use it to heat buildings. Some air source heat pumps are able to extract heat from external temperatures as low as -15 c, making them among the most efficient and economical heating systems available. But only as long as the system is properly designed and installed. This ATL air source heat pump training course combining practical and theory training is designed to provide just that – giving installers the knowledge and skills to provide customers with heat pump installations that are delivered to the highest possible standard, maximising customers’ energy efficiency and savings.
