Domestic Wind Turbines
ELECSA Certificated

A short course developed and certificated by ELECSA for those who want to become involved in the installation of domestic and small-scale wind turbines.

Description

Alternative (green) energy is rapidly becoming the biggest growth area in domestic energy installations as consumers seek ways to reduce the cost of heating and lighting their homes and businesses, while also cutting greenhouse emissions. This course, carrying nationally recognised certification, covers all aspects of the installation and commissioning of domestic and small-scale wind powered generators and ensures that candidates are able to install correctly and to the standards set down by the 17th Edition Regulations and Part P.

Who it’s for

Those involved in the building services and construction sectors who want to become involved in the advising, designing and installing of domestic and small-scale commercial wind powered generators.

Entry Requirements

None. But entrants are expected to have electrical experience equivalent to domestic installer (Part P) level.
