Introduction to Renewable Energies
BPEC Certificated

A short awareness course developed and certificated by BPEC for those who want to know about green energy and the environmental technologies involved.

Description

Alternative (green) energy, or “renewables” is rapidly becoming the biggest growth area in domestic energy installations as consumers seek ways to reduce the cost of heating and lighting their homes and businesses, while also cutting greenhouse emissions. This course, covering all micro renewable energy technologies and carrying nationally recognised certification offers an understanding of the various renewable energy technologies available, green energy payback times, renewable energy grants schemes, and how to select appropriate renewable energy systems.

Who it’s for

Those involved in the building services and construction sectors who want an introduction to renewable energies. Particularly suitable for installers (plumbers, heating engineers and electricians) and non-installers (architects, council and housing association staff, surveyors, engineers, salespeople in the renewable energy sector and even the general public).
