Description

This course, carrying nationally recognised certification, covers the range of Solar Hot Water systems suitable for domestic installation in the UK, explains the various system configurations, components and operating characteristics and will give participants the knowledge, skills and confidence to select, install and maintain appropriate systems.

Entry Requirements
Entrants are expected to have plumbing and heating experience and must hold a current Unvented Hot Water Certificate.

Outcomes
Having successfully completed the course you will receive the BPEC Solar Hot Water Certificate. The solar hot water certificate from BPEC is a nationally recognised qualification for Government grants. It was the first solar hot water installers certificate to be approved by Clear Skies and is also endorsed by BRE Certification for solar grants. You will also be eligible to apply to join the Solar Trade Association and/or the Renewable Energy Association.
