Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Systems
NICEIC Certificated

How to select, install and maintain a range of Solar Photovoltaic systems suitable for the UK market.

Description

Photovoltaic panels convert the sun's energy into electricity through the use of semiconductors. Photovoltaic panels make no noise and have no moving parts, which makes them maintenance free. Most houses have the space to install a starter system that can easily be added to by connecting panels together to make an array. This course, carrying nationally recognised certification, covers the range of Solar Photovoltaic systems suitable for domestic properties in the UK, explains the various system configurations, components and operating characteristics and will give participants the knowledge, skills and confidence to select, install and maintain appropriate systems.
